Nietzsche and problem solving

‘There are dreadful people who, instead of solving a problem, tie it in knots and make it harder for others to solve. He who does not know how to hit the nail on the head ought to be asked not to hit it at all.’  Nietzsche.

The journey through the H800 discussion on use of metaphor to describe the learning process has been valuable, but at times, the reading has been the mental equivalent of carrying a machine-gun through the muddy and water-filled trenches of Passchendaele.

Sometimes I find writers do more to obscure what they mean, than say anything meaningful or original.
