I was delighted to find a complete set of this series of this part work published between November 1934 and November 1935. It is in excellent condition too.
There is no holding back in terms of gruesome pictures from the front. Dreadful to think that within twenty five years the world was back at war. (Poland had to fight for its independence and nationhood from Russia in 1920. The conflicts in Europe have never ceased for long: back to the Balkans, Syria too and in 2014 Ukraine and Russia).
Over the course of several months I’ll review each part and offer my thoughts and additional links and resources.
